Ok, but what if it is Morton Goldthwait? Does is have to be a boy you are interested in Paige? I asked a girl to the Junior Prom many years ago and she turned me down, after it was over I heard her tell her friends that she would have gone if anyone had actually asked her.
Are the social rules still so strict that a girl can’t ask a boy to go? I would have considered it if a girl ever asked me, but I probably wouldn’t have because my parents would have teased me mercilessly (a great way for parents to destroy a kid’s self confidence, I might add)!
Never went to my junior or senior prom, nobody asked and I didn’t want to go and watch the guy I had a huge teeenager crush, actually it was more like I was in love with him,and his steady girlfriend together.
